Indus Towers Bridging the Digital Gap, Furthering ESG Agenda

In-line with the Government of India’s vision to bridge the digital divide and empower rural communities through enhanced connectivity, Indus Towers has installed more than 60% of its total addition of towers in rural India in FY24.

The project was implemented by Tanvir Singh (Circle CEO Rajasthan), Sandeep Gauba (Strategic Sourcing), Ajay Arora (Supply Chain Management), Sachin Patil and Rameshwar Bhosle (Operations & Maintenance).

Indus Towers’ mission of ‘Putting India First’ is in line with the Government’s aim to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The emphasis has been to focus on expanding digital infrastructure, providing access to rural areas and helping bridge the technology access gap. Indus Towers is committed towards being the backbone of technology for improved access to online services in health, education, and skilling etc.

The company’s portfolio of about 220,000 telecom towers across all 22 telecom circles makes it one of the largest tower infrastructure providers in the country, actively contributing to India’s digital transformation.
