Bangalore, India, August 28, 2015: Amazon Development Centre (India) Private Limited (“Amazon India”/ “Amazon”) has announced the Amazon Customer Excellence (ACE) Challenge, an innovative inter-collegiate case study competition open to teams from top business schools in Asia. ACE challenges B-School students to innovate, strategize and recommend solutions to a diverse set of complex work challenges. Currently in its 5th year, the ACE Challenge has become one of the top B-School competitions in India and has spread its wings across B-Schools in China, Hong Kong and Singapore. Registrations for ACE 2015 opened on August 20, 2015 and closes on August 27, 2015. Students from designated business schools can register themselves on http://www.amazonacechallenge.com/ within that deadline. Students participating will get an opportunity to participate and solve real business cases that could have an impact on the customer challenges that companies such as Amazon try to solve every day.

Amazon Customer Excellence (ACE) Challenge has witnessed unprecedented growth in the last 4 years in terms of reach and impact. In 2014, the ACE Challenge grew by a whopping 111% with over 3800 registered teams from 18 B-Schools across Asia. Of these, the best 18 teams were shortlisted for the final Innovation Challenge last year.

In our fifth consecutive year of hosting ACE, we aspire to reach out to a wide network of B-Schools with the objective of building a repository of high quality, internationally benchmarked cases. By solving such problems, students get exposed to e-commerce challenges that prepare them to become future leaders. This attracts the top minds and allows them to work and innovate new solutions.” said Raj Raghavan, Director HR, Amazon India.

“Apart from the quality of challenge that attracts the best minds in this country, ACE is also driven by strong digital and traditional media engagements with students across campuses. Frequent engagement on social platforms has strengthened the ACE brand, initiatives like selfie contest, weekly challenges have created a sense of competition among students and also solicited high levels of interest and engagement,” he added.

The Amazon Customer Excellence (ACE) Challenge 2015 will be conducted in two stages. From time crunched problem-solving and live case simulations in the first phase to an exciting face-off between teams in the finale, the competition will allow B-School students to strategize, brainstorm and evaluate various case studies given to them.
