New Delhi, India, March 16, 2015: CommunicAsia2015, EntepriseIT2015 and BroadcastAsia2015, Asia’s largest and most comprehensive events for the global Information and Communication Technology (ICT); and broadcasting, film and digital multimedia industries respectively, will welcome a strong contingent of Indian participants when it opens from 2 – 5 June at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

Industry events draw strong local participation

The Indian companies participating at CommunicAsia2015 and EntepriseIT2015 will include Dura-Line India Pvt Ltd, Exset Services BV, JMA ITSolutions and a group led by Telecom Equipment & Services Export Promotion Council (TEPC), ASR ESolutions Pvt Ltd, among others.

These companies will play an important role in the growth of not just India’s but also the global ICT industry as well. The Indian IT-BPM (Business Process Management) industry is expected to add revenues of US$13 billion – US$14 billion to the existing revenues by FY15, according to National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM).Going forward, the Indian industry will continue to address a global sourcing market that is currently growing at twice the rate of global IT-BPM spend (pegged at US$2 trillion at the end of 2013). While IT-BPM exports are expected to grow by 13-15 per cent and the domestic market revenues by nine to12 per cent in 2015, the overall revenues of the industry are set to reach US$130 billion.

The fast growing Media & Entertainment sector in India backed by customers’ demand for latest source-platforms of entertainment underlines the need to adopt globally applicable technologies. In 2013, India’s Media & Entertainment industry registered a growth of 11.8 per cent over 2012 and touched US$14.93 billion, as per a report by FICCI-KPMG. The industry has the potential to grow at 14.2 per cent to more than US$28.95 billion in the next four years.

The television industry in India is anticipated to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 16.2 per cent over 2013-18, to reach US$14.39 billion. Digital advertising is projected to have the highest CAGR of 27.7 per cent with other sub-sectors projected to grow at a CAGR in the range of 9-18 per cent, till 2018.
