Hitachi announces changes in top management

New Delhi, India, January 9, 2014: Hitachi, Japanese manufacturing, has announced the change of its Chairman and President in accordance with a resolution passed by a meeting of the Board of Directors held today. It will be effective from April 1, 2014.

Hitachi’s Representative Executive Officer and President Hiroaki Nakanishi will be appointed as a Director who chairs meetings of the Board of Directors.

Effective from April 1, 2014, Hiroaki Nakanishi will be the director, representative executive officer, chairman & CEO who is currently director, representative executive officer and president.

Toshiaki Higashihara will be representative executive officer, president & COO. He is currently senior vice president and executive officer, in charge of Medical Systems Business, president & CEO of Infrastructure Systems Group and Infrastructure Systems Company.
