HP Spectre Folio and Spectre x360 launched in India

HP launched the new Spectre series of Always Connected PCs in India, which transforms the premium computing experience of the device with powerful connectivity enabled by advanced LTE (Long Term Evolution). These devices are built for modern consumers who want stylish devices that can support their on-the-go lifestyle.

The new Spectre Folio and Spectre x360 Always Connected PCs are gigabit class LTE Intel based laptops, providing an advanced connectivity that is more secure than traditional public Wi-Fi networks. The devices support anano-SIM slot under the display to easily and quickly connect to cellular networks for blazing fast Internet and data. HP is partnering with Reliance Jio in India to provide the Always Connected PC experience. Customers buying the HP Spectre Folio and HP Spectre x360 will get 1.5 TB of high speed 4G data from Reliance Jio valid for two years at no additional cost.

Jetsetters and on-the-go professionals alike will appreciate HP’s focus on achieving ultra-mobility and connected modern standby. Customers can enjoy faster wireless broadband speeds of up to 1 gigabit per second. This means much faster downloads of videos, streaming with less of the annoying “buffering” interruptions, smoother video calls and other network data intensive activities.

HP Spectre Folio

As the world’s first leather convertible PC, HP has embraced the art of “manufacturing” with the HP Spectre Folio. This process combines meticulously designed hardware with handcrafted leather and accented stitching, resulting a transformative form factor designed for true mobility and equipped to easily adapt to everyday use cases. The Spectre Folio incorporates one of the smallest motherboards in the industry to achieve a thin and light design, capitalizing on 8th Gen Intel Core i7 (Y-series) processors.

Other features include up to 16 GB of memory, up to 512 GB of SSD storage, and 1W 400-nits FHD option for ideal viewing in any lighting condition. HP has tuned the four front facing speakers for a superb audio experience in any of the device positions by working in collaboration with renowned global audio and lifestyle brand Bang & Olufsen. The HP Spectre Folio also comes up to 15 hours of battery life.

HP Spectre x360

The HP Spectre x360 is designed for an on-the-go lifestyle, while offering superior design, leading security and enhanced performance. The model features a cut design that can only be achieved by CNC machining. The attention to craftmanship and detail is visible in the functional design, which enables four distinct positions: Laptop, Tent, Reverse and Tablet. The device also comes with a privacy camera kill switch which allows the user to electrically turn off the webcam when not in use. The HP Spectre x360 is also equipped with HP Sure View, an integrated privacy screen to help users avoid prying eyes in public areas.

Connected modern standby ensures emails, calendars, and contacts are always up-to-date, and a wake-on fingerprint reader and wake-on voices enables full log-on almost instantaneously. With HP’s Command Center, customers can help use modes to optimize system performance, fan speeds, and thermal performance based on what applications are being used; change the fan speed to be quieter when watching a movie or adjust for more power to better handle demanding applications like photo editing.
