Idea enables National MNP for mobile users across the country
Mumbai, India, July 2, 2015: Idea Cellular has enabled its network to roll out the DoT mandated National MNP services for mobile users across the country. This will enable people shifting location, across circles, to retain their number either with the same operator or even switch network, without having to change the number.
Idea has been the MNP leader with over 14 million Net Gain of customers so far, through intra circle MNP services. The company is now ready to enable National MNP by allowing its own users to retain their numbers even if they move out of a circle and also take on new customers who wish to switch to Idea network from their current service provider.
Idea has launched a Toll-free number 18002700000 for customers to call in if they wish to avail National MNP services on the Idea network.

The DoT had set the date of 3rd July 2015 for all operators to implement National MNP services. As a regulatory compliant and customer oriented company, Idea has ensured that the network is ready to enable the service within the defined timeframe.
