Overall, this looks like a positive budget, with a focus on the drivers for growth. Strong emphasis on Infrastructure and simplification of taxation procedures are welcome steps. On the other hand, for our sector, this budget doesn’t have much to spur consumption, and the increase in service tax rate will pinch us further, and we hope that the introduction of GST next year, will alleviate this.
