Sony India rolls out its 7.1.2 channel Soundbar HT-ST5000
Sony India launched its new flagship 7.1.2 channel Soundbar featuring Dolby Atmos. The Soundbar delivers audio quality with S-Force PRO Front Surround technology while acting as a wireless speaker for music listening.
Dolby Atmos enabled speakers delivers three-dimensional surround sound, accurately positioning sound within the environment so that the 7.1.2 speaker channels completely envelop sound – even from above. Optimized for Dolby Atmos, two in-built up-firing speakers bounce sound off the ceiling to reproduce overhead sound.
Emulating cinema style, the virtual surround sound combines Digital Signal Processing and S-Force PRO Front Surround with wave front technology to emulate a natural, three-dimensional sound field. All this is possible from a single Soundbar and subwoofer. It allows listeners to enjoy even more immersive cinematic experience. Sound quality is enhanced with coaxial magnetic fluid speaker and a 180mm Sigma Subwoofer unit that delivers balanced sound and a clearer bass. A woofer and tweeter work together inside a single speaker unit to deliver precisely aligned audio across frequencies.
The Soundbar offers improved voice positioning and clarity with S-Master HX digital amplifier. The technology reduces distortion for precise results with high-frequency ranges which is above 40kHz. It ensures the delivery of a balanced and wide frequency audio response. One can enjoy the subtlest nuances of studio-quality sound in higher than CD quality with High-Resolution Audio.
DSEE HX upscaling technology uses an algorithm to analyse the music and replace lost harmonics, restoring audio signals to near high-resolution quality. Sony DSEE HX software upscales your existing sound source to near high-resolution sound quality. This means that the technology injects more life into your music by upscaling compressed files. So it restores the subtleties of the original song recording and simulates the sound of live performance.
Wireless Connectivity with Bluetooth & NFC
The One touch wireless listening with Bluetooth & NFC makes streaming music through the Soundbar easier. With Bluetooth, one can also enjoy music playback streamed wirelessly from the smartphone. One-touch connection via NFC technology further removes the need for complex set-up sequences. The user can also connect the Soundbar to the internet with built-in Wi-Fi for instant access to music services via Chromecast built-in, and stream music from devices. Chromecast built-in lets the user cast favourite music from the phone, tablet or laptop right to the Soundbar.
Music Center App Compatibility
To deliver better experience, customers can browse music list of pen-drive from faraway place easily through the Music Center without looking at the monitor. One can hear the sound all around the house with wireless multi-room listening, controlled via the Sony Music Center. Users can also utilize the Sony Music Center app to group selected Sony Soundbars and wireless speakers together, then stream their favourite music service from TV via HDMI, optical or analogue.
Wireless Subwoofer
To discover the full audio immersion, the wireless subwoofer can be placed anywhere, to make the most of the living space. The compact subwoofer works efficiently and is a perfect member of a sophisticate home setup, as it easily blends into the living room. One can connect with 3x HDCP 2.2-compatible HDMI inputs, 1x HDMI ARC output, optical SPDIF, analogue AUX, and a USB connection.
