UST Global develops Mobile Application for Thiruvananthapuram City Police
Thiruvananthapuram, India, August 07, 2014: The Thiruvananthapuram City Police commissioner’s office has launched an innovative mobile application to enhance the quality of service provided to the public. The mobile application has been developed by UST Global.
This app is free for the public and will help people to be aware of various traffic rules, penalties and report any violations of laws they encounter. This app will also help people to connect emergency services like control room, ambulance, hospitals and fire service in and around Trivandrum city. It will also guide the people to the nearest police station from their current location.
The key features of the app are
- Traffic violations and respective fines to be paid
- Report an offence with image
- Emergency numbers
- Map of Police Stations in Trivandrum
- Road safety measures
- Speed Limit in City
Also planned are traffic alerts, other alerts to the public from the police and integration with WhatsApp.
The application can be downloaded from the official website of Trivandrum City Police http://www.tvmcitypolice.gov.in/index.html or via the Android Market.
