1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Syntac (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this Service.

2. Description of Service

Syntac is an AI-powered professional assistant platform that provides briefings, communication management, scheduling intelligence, and practice tools for professionals including realtors, therapists, coaches, and trades workers. The Service is delivered via web dashboard, messaging integrations (Telegram, WhatsApp, SMS), and email.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription and Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All plans include a 30-day free trial. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. Refunds for annual plans are available on a prorated basis within 30 days of purchase.

5. AI-Generated Content

Syntac uses artificial intelligence to draft communications, generate briefings, and provide recommendations. All AI-generated content is presented as suggestions for your review. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any content before it is sent or acted upon. Syntac is not liable for the accuracy, appropriateness, or consequences of AI-generated content.

6. Professional Responsibility

Syntac is a productivity tool designed to assist professionals. It is not a substitute for professional judgment, legal advice, medical advice, or financial advice. Users are responsible for ensuring their use of the platform complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards in their jurisdiction and industry.

7. Healthcare Professionals

For healthcare professionals using Syntac, the Service is designed to support HIPAA compliance. However, users are responsible for ensuring their use of the platform complies with all applicable privacy laws and regulations, including HIPAA. A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is available upon request.

8. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you provide to Syntac. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Syntac to: send unsolicited communications (spam); harass, abuse, or harm others; violate any laws or regulations; distribute malware or harmful code; attempt to access other users' data; or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Syntac, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data within 30 days of termination.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
