7th Global Sankalp Summit on Apr 9-10 in New Delhi
New Delhi, India, March 28, 2015: Sankalp Forum, an Intellecap initiative, plans to bring together over 1000 delegates from across the world at the 7th edition of its flagship Sankalp Global Summit. Notable amongst this is the participation of over 120 high profile dignitaries, speakers and collaborators that include top policymakers, diplomats, corporate leaders and entrepreneurs. The Summit is for the first time in its seven years journey being held in New Delhi and is also organized in a strategic partnership with the leading Industry Association the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
The Sankalp Summits are leading convening platforms for entrepreneurs, impact investors and development practitioners committed to tackling problems of inequitable growth and achieving inclusive development. This year the Summit theme is around Fueling the Innovation Economy: Role of Government, Private Sector and Capital, and kicks off on Apr 8th with a few high profile round tables and a Global Leaders Dinner hosted by Intellecap in partnership with Asha Impact and The Lemelson Foundation.. The two full days of the Summit Apr 9-10 will be dedicated to driving outcome focused discussions on how social entrepreneurs may be enabled to scale, showcasing innovators to key decision-makers within the government to engage more participation, and discussing pressing social & environmental concerns around issues like urban resilience, rural healthcare and sanitation to name a few. Along the sidelines of the Summit, a social innovation exposition, organized in partnership with Industry Partner FICCI, will showcase about 200 global innovations and sustainable business models that create large scale impact at the bottom of the pyramid.
