Idea launches toll free 1948 to help subscribers search for missing people

Idea has activated an Emergency number for its customers to locate others on the Idea network, in the flood-hit regions of Kerala. To locate a missing person Idea subscriber can now dial Toll Free No. 1948 and get instant status on the last known location of the person.

Step 1: Idea customers can dial 1948 from their Idea number

Step 2: Share Idea number of missing person

Customer will receive an SMS with the last known location of the missing person.

Only Idea numbers can be traced.
