Xchanging India and Singapore achieve CMMI-SVC Version 1.3 Maturity Level 5
Bangalore, India, September 3 2014: Xchanging plc, the business process, procurement and technology services provider, announced that its Application Maintenance, Support and Engineering Services has achieved Level 5, for version 1.3 of Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) framework for Services the highest possible rating within this industry benchmark. Xchanging Singapore is the first company in Singapore to be assessed at CMMI-SVC Ver. 1.3 Maturity Level 5 Staged Representation.
This achievement reaffirms Xchanging’s excellence in delivering application maintenance, support and engineering services to customers from its global delivery centres in India and Singapore.
CMMI is a process improvement appraisal programme for organisations, administered by the CMMI Institute, USA. An appraisal at maturity level 5 indicates that the organisation is performing at an “optimised” level, meaning that continual improvements are being made to processes, based on a quantitative understanding of business objectives and performance needs.
